How About a Giveaway?

As an analytical person, ever since I started this blog I have been addicted to the stats, a service blogspot provides to let us bloggers know how we're doing. I must check my stats 10 times a day, looking to see how many pageviews I've had, what posts people are reading, what websites people are finding me on, etc. As I write this, I've had 4,918 pageviews since January, when it all began. I have had a steadily increasing readership each month, and every once in a while I pick up a new follower. You know who you are :) That said, I am nearing 5,000 pageviews and am thinking of celebrating by having some kind of giveaway. That's where you come in: what would you like?

I can try making another pleated tote, this time using fabric that is actually attractive.  Or I could make a pillow case dress for one of your kids. Or perhaps one of you would like a stack of fabric scraps from my stash? I want to do something to mark this milestone, 5,000 pageviews! And, of course, as long as we are celebrating, you are welcome to invite others to join the party ;) (yes, I'm not above some shameless self-promotion). At any rate, this is going to happen within the next 2-3 days, so please share your thoughts. As always, thanks for reading!

  1. Congrats on your 5000 pageviews!

I'm so glad Blogger finally added the Stats. Back when I started blogging, I started using an external counter site. It was god that I did, because later I was baffled why images were missing due to Photobucket, where I stored my pics, and their "bandwidth limit". Using the stats, I was able to move the images from the popular posts to a new host to alleviate the extra traffic.

Anyway, I think a giveaway is a great idea. I've always wanted to host one, myself. I still have plans to. Count me as a participant in yours!
